Desi

Desi has been here since May 25^th. She is a 3 yr. old spayed Shepherd Mix. She is medium sized and very housebroke. She loves people and is good with children. She needs to be an only dog, and no cats. She is very intelligent and wants to please you. She was born without a tongue and does amazingly well. She can eat dry dog food and can drink water just fine. It’s somewhat messy, but we just put a washable rug under her bowls. She does drool (so do some breeds of dogs) but nothing a small towel can’t take care of. She can chew on toys. She is very affectionate and playful, and walks good on a leash. She has totally adjusted to her 7 months at the shelter and is neither depressed or cage crazy. She is special, and deserves a special forever home. We marvel at her existence!
